Business Development Related
- Identify perspective business opportunity (consulting Opportunity) for the organization.
- Be aware of and be updated on the consulting opportunities/projects funded by various donor agencies in the assigned sector(s) well in advance and prepare accordingly.
- Study project documents and other relevant documents and be aware of scope of projects and consulting opportunities.
- Correspond / communicate with potential international / domestic partner firms for various consulting projects in the assigned sectors.
- Identify best international / domestic firm(s) for the projects – Interact, identify and tie up with a firm (s) who has relevant consulting experience, strong human resources relevant to the project, strong financial resources. This will involve detailed & extensive assessments.
- Accompany and liaise with international principals to client and related organizations during their visits.
- Identify best local resource personnel for the projects - To interact, identify and tie up with best resource personnel to be proposed through TMS in the projects. This will involve detailed & extensive assessment, financial negotiations etc.
- Build good rapport with resource consultants and national and international perspective partner firms.
- Assist in preparing Expression of Interests (EOIs) and Proposals. This includes coordinating with partners and experts; document compilations; preparing CVs & Project Reference Sheets etc. and assisting in preparation of Approach and Methodologies, Work Plans and Staffing Schedules.
- Prepare financial proposals.
- Participate in contract negotiations with the client.
- Identify areas/concept with experts / partner firm(s) / Clients for Conceiving Projects and new business opportunities.
- Handle overall documents and provide all necessary information to project implementation team and finance department after signing of contract.
Project Coordination Related
- Coordinate with consultants and clients on project related matters.
- Develop project schedules and work-plans in coordination with team leader
- Work closely with consultants to ensure deliverables meet the targets and standards.
- Work closely with the team leader to monitor project progress.
- Plan and implement project related activities.
- Work closely with team leader of the project to develop administrative and operational systems and recruiting required project personnel.
- Manage contracts with clients, partners, and consultants.
- Develop and implement project implementation manual.
- Ensure financial management of project in coordination with finance and accounts department.
- Make field visits to project sites as and when required.
- Maintain regular visits to client (that include government agencies and international donor organizations) and build professional rapport with client.
- Work with international partners to ensure proper project implementation.
- Participate in meetings and seminars related to the project.
- Facilitate project related workshops and seminars when required.
