Job Description

About the role:

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Convincing sellers to sell online on Kaymu
  • Training sellers about the basics of Kaymu (i.e. listing fees, delivery, promotions, account management etc)
  • Uploading the products of these acquired sellers to the Kaymu website
  • Sourcing products from existing sellers or acquiring new sellers, according to the strategic targets set out by the Electronics Category Manager
  • Sourcing deals at prices which are “lower than market”

 Qualities we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Knowledge of Electronic consumer goods
  • Knowledge of retailers, wholesalers and importers for Electronic goods
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Confident, presentable and persuasive
  • Pro-active attitude
  • Able to work both independently and within a team
  • Passion for scaling up e-commerce activity in Nepal
  • Fluent in Nepali as well as English
  • Familiar with Google Docs and Google Sheets
  • Previous experience in a sales focused role, highly advantageous
