We are looking for a Business Application Analyst to join the PMsquare team! This person will utilize their existing knowledge of finance and accounting to deliver business insights via modern data analytics software. 

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in business finance or accounting, a passion for technology, and a desire to grow and learn in a collaborative environment. You will receive training in IBM Planning Analytics software, equipping you with the skills to excel in this position.

What we are looking for in a candidate:

•  Formal education that has imparted foundational knowledge of business finance and/or accounting 
•  A creative, inquisitive, and resourceful nature: you have a desire to learn new things and often come up with creative solutions to problems by exploring and experimenting
•  Adept at written and verbal communication: you think about who your audience is and speak or write accordingly
•  A drive to succeed and to help others succeed: you strive for excellence, but you don’t see success as a zero-sum game. Instead, you genuinely care about those you work with and want to see them “winning” as well
•  A general aptitude for technology: learning new software and technical concepts comes easily for you
•  A desire to build, create, and experiment with technology: you’ve built content using some aspect of technology on your own (outside of work or school requirements)
•  Some basic knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful (but not required): databases, statistics, Microsoft Excel, or programming (any language).
•  You will be trained in IBM Planning Analytics software

Job Responsibilities :

•  Collaborate with team members to develop and implement business finance solutions.
•  Utilize IBM Planning Analytics software to support financial planning and analysis.
•  Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver appropriate solutions.
•  Continuously learn and apply new technologies to improve processes and outcomes.
•  Support and mentor colleagues to foster a collaborative and successful team environment.

Nice to Have:

•  A year of experience in accounting and Finance
•  Technical aptitude in addition to the finance/accounting education.
• Some basic knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: Databases, Statistics, Programming (any language)
