Job Description

Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders and facilitating the negotiation of requirements among them
Identifying the current- and future-state business processes
Creating, analyzing, and validating detailed functional specifications
Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wire frames, or other detailed deliverable
Ability to problem solve and apply methodologies such as Unified Modeling Language/Rational Unified Process/etc. to prepare detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation
People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations
Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development/User Story process flow diagrams
Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall Methodologies
Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation
Responsible for project planning and resource management
Keep all parts of the process organized and running according to project plan
Communicate between various teams internally, setting times and dates for meetings to keep on schedule, and relay any issues with timelines or budgets to the line manager
Ensure that each team member has the tools they need to meet project milestones
Create project schedules that include materials estimates and manpower needs to be submitted to management
Build a strong team by cultivating relationships between each team member and illustrating how individual team members affect the success of the entire project
