Job Description

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Overview:  

The Business Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of business information systems across multiple departments. BA will identify problems and opportunities within a company and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the business' goals. The analyst will develop initiatives and strategies that optimize costs and improve internal and external reporting.

Roles and Responsibilities

Information Governance

  • Understands the implications of information, both internal and external, that can be mined from business systems and elsewhere
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Reviews new change proposals and provides specialist advice on information and records management, including advice on and promotion of collaborative working and assessment and management of information-related risk
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Managing competing resources and priorities
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Creates and maintains an inventory of information assets, which are subject to relevant regulations of the company
  • Contributes to development of policy, standards and procedures for compliance with relevant regulations of the company

Coordination 

  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
  • Documenting and communicating the results of the efforts
  • Working closely with clients, technical, and managerial staff
  • Train the team members and provide information regarding product/services
