Role Overview
As a Business Analyst at Navya Advisors Limited, you will act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements to ensure that the company’s technology solutions align with both business goals and customer needs. Working closely with product managers, development teams, and other key stakeholders, you will ensure that business processes are optimized, new products are well-defined, and ongoing projects are supported with clear, actionable insights.
This role is ideal for someone with a keen analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in an agile, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and system requirements. Translate these requirements into clear, actionable user stories and functional specifications.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement. Propose process optimizations or new system solutions to streamline operations and increase productivity.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of business goals and technical requirements. Serve as the primary point of contact for all business-related questions during the development cycle.
- Product & System Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including requirements specifications, user guides, process flow diagrams, and other technical or business-facing materials.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that will inform decision-making. Prepare reports and presentations that highlight key findings and actionable recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Testing & Validation: Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test cases, executing tests, and ensuring that solutions meet business needs and requirements before deployment.
- Project Support: Assist in managing project timelines, ensuring that deliverables are met and that projects stay on track. Provide ongoing support to project teams by clarifying requirements, resolving issues, and facilitating collaboration between stakeholders.
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to ensure the business is ahead of the curve in delivering innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or software-driven environment.
- Proven experience in gathering, documenting, and analyzing business requirements for complex systems or software projects.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile or Scrum development environments is a plus.
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies (e.g., use cases, user stories, process mapping, and data modeling).
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
- Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Trello, etc.) and data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking:
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and solutions to business challenges.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and objectives.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to facilitate meetings, present findings, and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
