Job Description

BSS Support Engineer is responsible for integration and smooth operation of cellular networks. Also, coordinates with different teams to resolve issues escalated by network operators.

Complete operation and maintenance of ZTE BSC and RNC, ZTE BTS and NodeB
Fault Restoration / TT handling / Alarm handling.
Provide BSC and RNC level support for the GSM and UMTS networks.
Perform and coordinate activities such as integration of new BSC/RNC/ BTS/NodeB and capacity expansion.
Define/Configure all BSS related parameters including Radio parameters, Handover and Power control parameters.
Performance monitoring and health check of different nodes in network and reporting to team lead.
Initiate and actively participate in technical discussions /fault management/ outage restoration.

Qualifications:

BE in Electronic and communication Engineering or related field
At least 1 years of experience with Telecom industry and network knowledge preferred
Good knowledge of BSC/RNC/BTS equipment.
Good attitude and logical thinking ability.
Excellent communications skills with proficiency in English language

Requirements:

Knowledge of GSM/UMTS/LTE network architectures and standards
Flexibility regarding travel and relevant work patterns.
At least 1 year of working experience in telecom networks.
Ability to work under pressure and different time shifts if required
Good Knowledge of Microsoft office package.
Knowledge in linux server and database.
