Shanker group was founded in the year 1979 by Mr. Shanker Lal Agrawal with integration of diversified operating companies, which had grown over the years since the initial foray in to business by Mr. Rawat Mal Agarwal in Rangoon, Burma in 1930 and the beginning in Nepal in the year 1960 with the setup of company manufacturing buttons.

Job Description

Department: Sales – Proton 4W Division
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

To manage the overall sales and operations of the Proton showroom, ensuring exceptional customer experience, sales target achievement, team productivity, and adherence to corporate brand and operational standards.

Detailed Duties & Responsibilities:

A. Sales & Business Operations

  • Develop and execute monthly and quarterly sales targets in line with regional goals.
  • Monitor enquiry handling, test drives, and lead conversion performance.
  • Drive showroom campaigns and local promotional events to generate footfall.
  • Coordinate with finance, insurance, and accessories partners for complete customer solutions.

B. Customer Relationship & Experience Management

  • Ensure high-quality engagement with walk-in and online customers.
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction levels through feedback and surveys.
  • Maintain relationships with repeat and premium customers.

C. Showroom Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure proper display, ambiance, and cleanliness of the showroom.
  • Monitor vehicle display rotation and upkeep of demo cars.
  • Ensure adherence to brand visual guidelines and audit requirements.
  • Supervise documentation, vehicle invoicing, and delivery protocols.

D. Team Leadership & Development

  • Motivate, guide, and evaluate showroom staff performance.
  • Conduct product and sales process training for sales executives.
  • Manage attendance, discipline, and overall team morale.

E. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare daily and weekly sales performance reports.
  • Coordinate with regional team for stock planning, promotions, and logistics.
  • Report customer feedback, competitor activities, and market trends to management.
