Boys’ Hostel Warden

The Boys’ Hostel Warden will be responsible for the overall supervision, safety, and day- to-day management of the boys’ hostel at Himalayan Children’s Foundation (Kailash Home). This role ensures a secure, disciplined, and child-friendly environment while supporting the overall development and well-being of the children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

A. Child Care & Development

• Ensure the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of children.
• Supervise children & daily routine and study hours; ensure punctuality and discipline.
• Provide guidance and assistance in academic, behavioral, and moral development.
• Coordinate with the hostel nurse to ensure proper health care and follow-ups.
• Communicate with schools/colleges regarding academic matters.
• Maintain records of student attendance, health cases, and disciplinary matters.
• Report children's needs and concerns to the management.
• Assist in organizing extracurricular, cultural, and developmental activities.
• Support the implementation of child development plans.
• Ensure adherence to Kailash Home rules and regulations.

B. Housekeeping & Property Maintenance

• Ensure high standard of cleanliness throughout the hostel.
• Conduct daily checks of beds, rooms, washrooms, and common areas.
• Ensure hostel facilities, furniture, and fixtures are in proper working condition.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance Incharge.
• Maintain hygiene, order, and safety inside and outside the hostel building.
