Role Description

• Communication & proper handover procedures with previous shift boiler if it is already a running boiler.
• If it is a starting shift then check primary conditions of Power, Soft Water supply, Feed Tank level etc.
• Check the sufficient fuel stock for day operation.
• Check the pervious shift log-book for any historical events occurred in earlier shift operations.
• Check Boiler Chimney smoke color and adjust the FD fan damper opening etc.
• Never allow water level to fall down below specified limits of Mobryl & constantly monitor operating conditions.
• Strictly follow and adhere SOP’s for startup, running and shut down procedures defined for boiler operation.
• Regular hour and write all events and records noticed during operation. 
• Follow daily, weekly routine maintenance procedures with help of Supervisor/In charge.
• Work in Coordination with WTP / Other utility operator for better operation and support other utility function.
• Monitor & Operate proper condensate recovery system and make sure there is no wastage of hot water returning to Boiler.

Qualifications

• 2nd Class Boiler Certified as per IBR rule / Or Local Govt. Regulation
• Knowledge of boiler operations and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures
