Job Description: Billing Executive 

Reports to: Sales Team & Head of Department (HOD) 

Domain: Business Operations 

Purpose of the Job:

Billing Executive is responsible for the accurate and timely billing to channels, generating sales-related reports, and ensuring seamless coordination between logistics, sales, and finance teams. The role demands a meticulous individual with a solid understanding of accounting principles and online billing systems, who is capable of thriving in a dynamic and evolving environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily Billing:  Ensure accurate and timely billing to channels on a daily basis.
  • Sales Reporting: Generate and maintain sales-related reports to support the sales team and management.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate effectively with logistics, sales, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve any billing issues.
  • Financial Reconciliation: Assist in the reconciliation of billing and payments, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Customer Interaction:  Address and resolve billing inquiries and disputes in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in the billing process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Accounting, Finance).
  • Proficiency in accounting principles and online billing systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative spirit.
  • Comfortable and effective in an environment of ambiguity or change, with a growth-minded and self-driven attitude.
