Sunai is looking for a talented Backend Engineer to join our team. If you are passionate about developing high-quality, scalable software solutions and have a strong background in Node.js, we would love to hear from you. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, from conceptualization through to deployment, to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend services using Node.js (Go lang is a plus).
• Manage and optimize database operations, including writing queries and managing schema changes (e.g., with MongoDB, and PostgreSQL).
• Develop RESTful APIs and, if applicable, GraphQL services that are robust, scalable, and maintainable
• Manage continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Manage user authentication and authorization mechanisms using tools like JWT, OAuth, etc.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express, NestJS).
• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with database systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, etc.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker, and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., GitHub Actions, Drone CI)

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree completed in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: 2+ years as a Node js developer.

Salary: up to 70k depending upon the experience.
