Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Back End Developer at Softechpark. The Back End Developer will be responsible for back-end development with Node.js

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of professional experience with Node.js.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Proficient in building scalable and secure backend systems.
• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and APIs.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization concepts.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

Other Skills:

• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have:

• Knowledge of other databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience with GraphQL or gRPC.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes or other orchestration tools. Exposure to frontend frameworks like React or Nextjs or vue.js.
