Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Draftsman to develop and present structural designs using CAD-based software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing structural drawings, conducting preliminary load analysis, generating production and site drawings, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and present structural designs using CAD based sofware such as AutoCad, revit, Sketchup
Perform preliminary load analysis of the structure.
Estimate materials and generate bill of material (BOM) for production and procurement.
Undertake relevant research to optimize the production and installation of the product.
Generate production drawings for fabrication in the factory.
Generate site package of drawings, layouts, sections and detail drawings to suit installation needs.
Document all drawings and maintaining document register.
Generate and maintain CAD/Drawings and all relevant files in the job database over the course of a project and for future reference.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in structural drafting (Freshers also encouraged to apply).
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
Good knowledge of sections, elevations, and structural detailing.
Experience with 3D modeling using Revit, SketchUp, or similar software.
Basic understanding of structural principles and load calculations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
