Job Description

Major Responsibilities

  • Developing ,understanding and communicating relevant retail trends to center management – areas to include sales and footfall forecasting & reporting and general issues
  • Assisting in preparing the annual Marketing Plan, and ensuring that marketing objectives are achieved, measured and results reported to all relevant stakeholders.  
  • Developing and managing relationships with retailers, head office, suppliers, retained agencies – ensuring cost efficiencies and brand guardianship is achieved at all times.         
  • Developing and implementing ATL and BTL marketing campaigns and brand strategies to achieve targets, from creative brief through to analysis and recommendations. 
  • Working closely with all agencies to develop yearly media plan and ensure timely and top-class implementation of all marketing communications. 
  • Assessing the effectiveness of the Mall website and implementing content improvements and new features to meet on-line objectives. 
  • Working effectively with internal departments to ensure optimum business effectiveness and information is communicated around the business units – new store openings, launches, events, changes to procedures, staff newsletters.  
  • Handling day to day responsibility for all consumer PR, liaison with PR/ Ad. Agency, Corporate Communications team as well as other stakeholders.   

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Should have an MBA degree with 4-5 years retail, consumer, leisure or hospitality marketing experience/ 2-3 years relevant experience in a shopping Centre / mall / hotel especially with some background in Advertising would be highly advantageous.    
  • Should have an understanding of retail marketing in particular the drivers of shopping, project Management Skills, Budget Management Skills, Decision Making & sound judgment skills, Outstanding customer service skills, leadership skills
