Job Summary:

Mahavir Shree International P. Ltd. is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer / Technical Sales professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. This role involves handling tender searches, bid proposals, and technical document reviews while collaborating with internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable pricing structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong technical understanding of the company’s products and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
  • Represent the company in major customer negotiations, showcasing excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional interpersonal skills.
  • Conduct tender searches, including government e-tendering and online bidding, to identify business opportunities.
  • Prepare, draft, and compile bid proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance with specifications, and timely submission.
  • Review project requirements, technical documents, and scopes to develop competitive and precise bids.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, engineering, and finance to gather necessary information for bidding processes.
  • Calculate costs, evaluate risks, and create pricing structures while ensuring profitability and competitiveness.
  • Manage the entire bidding process, including submission, adherence to guidelines, and tracking outcomes.
  • Perform tasks related to bill checks, estimate reconciliations, and BOQ preparation.
  • Assist in managing daily administrative tasks and operations as needed.
  • Contribute to a collaborative work environment by demonstrating teamwork, responsibility, and attention to detail.
  • Collect, organize, and report bidding-related information to support decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Licensed Engineer is more preferable. 
  • Minimum of 0 to 1 years of experience in sales, technical sales, or bid management.
  • Strong understanding of technical sales and bidding processes.
  • Experience in government e-tendering and online bidding platforms.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze technical documents and prepare competitive bids.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and bidding software/tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
