Job Description

Department: BBA
Reports To: Programme Leader

Job Summary:

The Associate Programme Leader for BBA is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and academic direction of the BBA programme. This role involves overseeing curriculum development, faculty development, student support, research activities, and administrative operations. He/She will collaborate closely with the Programme Leader, faculty members, students, and external stakeholders to ensure the programme's academic excellence and success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership

  • Execute the programme's academic vision, mission, and strategic goals.
  • Oversee, review, and implementation of all audit processes as per University and TBC requirements.
  • Regular Classroom Assessments.
  • To further support student success, provide frequent workshops on correct referencing practices and the responsible use of AI in academic work.
  • Monitor students with low attendance and low performance closely with SSD.
  • During student enrollment, work closely with marketing and admission teams to enroll students.
  • Ensure the quality and relevance of the programme's academic offerings.
  • Build a collaborative and supportive learning environment for students.

2. Faculty Support

  • Assist in Induction, Orientation and Support of faculty members.
  • Assist Examination and Registry Department with moderation, assessment samples uploads, preparation for Exam Board and Field Board.
  • Assist Examination and Registry Department for enrolling faculties into their respective module.
  • Preparation and Follow-up for Part-Time Faculty and Guest Lecture Payment.

3. Student Support

  • Assist in Induction, Orientation and Support of students.
  • Support the academic and personal well-being of students.
  • Advise students on academic matters and counseling.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.

4. Administrative Operations

  • Comply with university policies and regulations.
  • Assist Programme Leader with Exam Board, Field Board, Progression Board, Academic Offenses, Weekly update meetings and Partnership Board.
  • Ensure TBC website has up-to-date syllabus and course content every quarter and coordinate with the website team to ensure for the same.

5. Others

  • Administrative Tasks (Email, Calendar, Reports)
  • Assist with University-Related Meetings
  • Assist Student Events and Workshops
  • Assist students with Research Projects
  • Others (e.g., Meeting with Parents, Tech Support)
