Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Essential Qualification and Experience

Diploma in Pharmacy with at least 2 years of working experience post qualification
Current unrestricted registration as an Assistant Pharmacist with Nepal Pharmacy Council (NPC)
Must be computer literate and should have knowledge of Pharmacy Inventory software
Working knowledge and application of relevant Country legislation governing Pharmacy Service Delivery

Job Responsibilities

Support management of AWC pharmacy (health stores including pharmaceuticals, consumable and medical stores, first aid kits and medical equipment)
Ensure stock availability of drugs and consumables to minimize PMC costs and reduce wastage through efficient stock movements
Up to date, complete and accurate stock information and undertake periodic review of stock, using the electronic medical records system
Dispensing medicines to Entitled Personnel in accordance with standard instructions and policy, Country acts and regulations;
Pre-labelling of and management of issue of medicines for kits, mobile teams and Pensioner Support Teams
