About Us: NAS-IT is a leading industry association representing software and IT services companies in Nepal. Our mission is to drive Nepal's IT sector by fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, collaboration and creating opportunities for members to succeed in a global marketplace. We are seeking an Assistant Officer to help NAS-IT achieve its mission. The Assistant Officer will be responsible for executing daily operations, assisting in managing NAS-IT events and initiatives, supporting the Head of Execution in their roles and responsibilities, and ensuring the achievement of our mission and objectives.
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the executive committee, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating appointments.
- Meeting Facilitation: Organize and facilitate board meetings, committee meetings, and meetings with other companies or partners, and other relevant gatherings.
- Communication: Maintain smooth communication within the organization by drafting and sending emails, ensuring effective interdepartmental communication, and following up on action items from meetings.
- Networking: Connect with various relevant companies and individuals to foster partnerships, collaborations, and engagement with the association.
- Content Preparation: Write blog posts, social media content, and other materials to promote the activities and achievements of NAS-IT.
- Task Execution: Execute tasks assigned by the Head of Execution or other senior members of the organization with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Event Execution: Assist in the planning and execution of various NAS-IT-led events, as well as other events in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records, documents, and minutes of meetings for future reference.
- General Support: Provide general support to ensure the organization's smooth operation, including coordinating with members, managing documents, and handling routine administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: While a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, it is not mandatory. Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Administrative Skills: The ideal candidate possesses strong administrative and organizational skills, coupled with acute attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: The successful applicant exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at crafting clear and concise emails and content.
- Networking: Applicants should showcase a proven ability to network effectively with relevant companies and individuals, fostering mutually beneficial relationships.
- Digitally Proficient: Proficiency in office software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, along with familiarity with social media platforms, is essential.
- Team Player: We are looking for a collaborative individual who can work effectively within a team and independently when required.
