Job Description

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent is responsible to provide support to overall human resources function under direct supervision of country HR functional head
  • Oversee any risk or issues pertaining to human resources in close supervision of HR manager
  • Directly deal with payroll and day to administrative job regarding employees

Principal Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Development:

  • Handle all supportive jobs in managing the process of staffing by arranging vacancy announcement, shortlisting CVs in coordination with functional heads, organizing interview processes, maintain and properly filing of CVs of candidates and other related jobs
  • Organizing the orientation and induction program of new employees
  • Assist in the process of identifying development requirements of functional head and second lines and arrange for proper training and workshop for making a stronger and tangible management team
  • Providing support to conducting training and development program
  • Assist in implementing Performance Development Planning in the One People Place system per guidance of country HR manager

Responsibilities regarding administrative jobs of employee:

  • Independently handle monthly payroll
  • Handle employee benefits such as medical reimbursement; leave management, attendance monitoring and all others related to payroll
  • Should be able to type official documents for regulators or any other government office submission in Nepali
  • Monitoring and ensuring proper implementation of Employees Service Rules

Others:

  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies. Stay updated and accordingly updating manager of any amendment in law
  • Contributing to team effort of Human Resources department and play complementary role to all job responsibilities of this department
  • Maintain professional interpersonal skill with employees as and when required under supervision of HR manager

Dimensions or Scope of Work: 

  • Work under country Human Resources Manager. Frequently need to coordinate with Head of Department as required for accomplishment of various HR related jobs.
