P.S.R.M. Associates is a well-established Chartered Accountancy and Audit firm based in Lalitpur, Nepal, seeking a highly motivated and technically grounded Assistant Manager to join our professional services team. The ideal candidate is a Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of two years of relevant experience, a strong command of Nepal's regulatory and statutory landscape, and the interpersonal acumen to serve as a trusted liaison between our firm and its clients.

This role sits at the intersection of technical advisory, compliance management, financial analysis, and client relationship management — offering significant scope for professional growth within a dynamic, multi-client environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform/advise clients on bookkeeping practices, chart of accounts, and general ledger maintenance to ensure accurate and consistent financial records.
Oversee payroll processing including salary structuring, provident fund contributions, and statutory deductions in line with applicable regulations.
Manage VAT, TDS, and Advance Tax compliance — including return filings, reconciliations, and timely deposit of dues.
Ensure client adherence to SSF regulations and Nepal's Labor Act, covering contributions, employment agreements, and workplace obligations.
Perform statutory and internal audits across client engagements.
Prepare and present quarterly board reports covering consolidated financials, performance summaries, variance analysis, and key commentary.
Conduct ratio analysis and budgetary reviews, providing management with actionable insights and course-correction recommendations.
Support strategic planning engagements including SWOT analysis, goal-setting, and long-term business roadmap development.
Review client debt structures and advise on restructuring or refinancing options to optimize cash flow and cost of capital.
Serve as the dedicated point of contact for assigned clients, handling queries, communications, and day-to-day liaison professionally and promptly.

Other Specification

Semi-Qualified CA currently enrolled in CAP III under ICAN/ICAI, with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a Nepal based audit or consulting firm.
Strong working knowledge of Nepal's tax laws including VAT, TDS, Advance Tax, and Income Tax Act provisions.
Familiarity with SSF regulations and Nepal's Labor Act obligations.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to prepare and present financial reports to management or board-level stakeholders.
