Reporting To: Group Finance Head – The Kandel Group
Remuneration: Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Location: Kathmandu (with coordination across international entities)

About the Role:

The Kandel Group is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our international business units. The position requires a strong understanding of international financial management, reporting standards, and cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate will assist the Group Finance Head in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all global financial activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and monitor financial operations of all international subsidiaries and business units under The Kandel Group.
Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for overseas entities.
Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, tax regulations, and local statutory requirements of respective countries.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid strategic decision-making for international operations.
Oversee foreign currency transactions, remittances, and inter-company reconciliations.
Coordinate with local finance teams, auditors, and banks across multiple jurisdictions.
Assist in financial due diligence, audits, and internal control reviews for international ventures.
Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and compliance in global finance operations.
Work closely with the Group Finance Head to align financial strategies and reporting standards across all international entities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/ACCA preferred).
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a multinational or group company setup.
Strong understanding of IFRS, international taxation, and cross-border financial operations.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
Strong communication and coordination abilities across international teams.
