The Art Director formulates design concepts and presentation approaches, and directs other team members engaged in art work, layout design, and copywriting for visual communications media, such as magazines, newspapers, packaging etc.

• To formulate basic layout design
• To review and approve art materials, copy materials, and proofs of printed copy developed
• To manage multiple projects working within budget and scheduling requirements
• To discuss client requirements and presentation concepts and to coordinate creative activities
• To presents final layouts to clients for approval
• To determine objectives, background information, and presentation approaches
• To hire, train, and direct other team members in the art department
• To closely work with creative director to develop overall creative solutions
• To attend photo-shoots, printing sessions and reviews illustrative materials
