Job Description

Survey, Earthquake-resistant drawing of structure (School, Public Buildings or any other structure) and their implementation as and when required by ESS Projects and programs;
Survey and design for seismic strengthening of existing structures (schools, public buildings or any other structure), and their implementation as and when required by ESS projects and programs.
Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
Plan layout of project.
Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans.
Architectural planning, Design & Drawing of structures including 3D rendering;
Discuss the ideas, objectives, requirements and budget of a project and in some cases help to select a site;
Consult with other professionals on the design and assess the needs of the building and its users and advise the client on the practicality of their project;
Prepare and present feasibility reports and design proposals and assess the impact on the local environment;
Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications and prepare applications for planning and building control departments;
Field supervision and monitoring of earthquake-resistant construction and strengthening as and when required by ESS projects and programs
Undertake studies and researches on earthquake hazard, risk reduction and preparedness
Assist ESS team in developing strategies, plans, programs and materials for awareness raising and capacity building.
Implement or assist in implementation of public awareness programs, training programs or any other form of information / knowledge sharing or capacity building such as workshops, seminars and conferences
Conduct or assist in conducting Urban Earthquake Risk Assessment, planning for risk reduction and implementation of risk reduction measures
