Job Description

  • Perform and Assist with Installation and Maintenance of ongoing installed diagnostic lab equipment and future installation as well
  • Provide demonstration and application training at the time of installation and whenever required by users (lab technician, doctors etc)
  • Solve Application Issues when oncall
  • Should be flexible to attend minor Break-down calls(hardware related) if required along with just software issue as in -the laboratory equipment the issues are most of the time combined result of software and hardware issue
  • Should be flexible to attend service related call alone when there is emergency and no other service engineers are available
  • Should be flexible to work overtime while attending application issue call/ breakdown call
  • Maintain continuous customer/dealer relationship with politeness and patience while facing any situation while on call
  • Receive and inform new customer requests to particular sales person for information and proposals or quotes
  • Should provide all useful information that is received while on call to the sales person which can help in new possible sales
  • Should be prepared to Participate in customer/distributor/ self trainings(in the country/outside the country) or conferences as required or as may benefit the company’s relations and business development
  • Should be prepared travel out of valley to customer sites to attend application issue calls if required
  • Should be able to maintain communications(via call/mail)with concerned brand authorities(Application/ service individuals) from INDIA/ any other countries if the issues are not solved by self
  • Acts as a liaison between company’s Technical and Operational departments regarding customer/distributor issues and needs
  • Advise the Operational and Technical departments of customer/distributor complaints and concerns seeing that appropriate actions are taken to reach a satisfactory resolution
  • Report to the customer/distributor the actions taken to correct issues and complaints while on call
