Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Application Security Engineer at DNS. The Application Security Engineer will be responsible for performing day-to-day tasks related to application security, including identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, implementing security controls and measures, and developing secure coding practices. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing guidance on application security best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of application security principles and best practices
• Experience in the design, configuration, and implementation of web application firewall (WAF)
• Experience in performing security assessments and vulnerability management
• Proficiency in secure coding practices and code review
• Understanding of web application frameworks and technologies
• Familiarity with industry-standard security tools and technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, or CEH are a plus
• Experience in the IT industry or related field is beneficial
