Job Summary
Strategy
- Support the finance process as per the timelines advised for both Group & local cycles.
- To be vigilant & alert while making payments to the vendors to avoid double payments.
Business
- Ensuring that all bills/invoices received by different departments & units gets paid on time and settling suspense accounts on time.
- Send/circulate the list of Fixed Assets to all the cost centre/branches to confirm that the record of the assets in FA system reconciles with the physical presence.
- Deposit of tax and submission of details on time through online and issue TDS certificate to vendors where applicable.
- Perform month end task such as pass month end provision, amortization of prepaid account etc.
- Prepare and provide daily liquidity reports.
- Perform KCSA & CST checks.
Processes
- Ensure compliance of various policies, regulations and group norms and values.
- Fulfil month end requirements for provisioning and payments.
- Interest Tax Reconciliation of every local/Nepali month.
- Updating Invoice Dashboard for leftover invoices during month end
- Prepaid Reconciliation and reports
- CBR & SODA Processing
- Timely process of vendor invoices
People & Talent*
- Emphasize on training and development activities as well learning from colleagues
Risk Management
- Proactive identification of risks and concerns, including escalation to all relevant stakeholders
- Compliance of applicable laws, regulations and internal policies and procedures
- To be vigilant & alert while making payments to the vendors to avoid double payments.
- Have various control measures to ensure transactions are valid and risk free.
Governance
- Ensure strict adherence of statutory/group/internal, policies/guidelines & timely escalation of all breaches to CFO.
- Ensure money Laundering prevention & compliance issues are tracked and addressed.
- Perform reconciliation of various accounts under APU ownership and make follow ups for clearance of outstanding entries.

Qualifications
- Completed bachelor’s in business administration.
- 2 years of work experience
- Proven experience in accounting process
