Reports to:  Alumni Affairs Manager

Job Purpose

To co-develop and implement Career Services to graduating Fellows and TFN Alumni, Alumni communication and Alumni evaluation guided by the TFN Alumni Impact Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Primarily responsibilities include but not limited to executing the following:

  • Planning: Co-develop Professional Development, Leadership and Management programs
  • Program Administration: Administer programs and activities coherent with the Alumni Strategy and Action Plan
  • Training: Execute regular Career Services to TFN Fellows and Alumni, organize events, deliver sessions and provide follow-up support
  • Networking: Research and network for potential Alumni placements and partnerships
  • Partnership: Administer TFN’s collaboration with TFN Alumni Association and other TFN partners
  • Communication: Maintain regular communication with TFN Alumni 
  • Documentation: Document Alumni Leadership stories in collaboration with other teams
  • Evaluation: Execute Annual Alumni Survey, document, organize and report Alumni information
  • Event Management: Coordinate Alumni event planning, preparation and logistics 
  • Collaboration: Work with other teams to achieve all-team TFN goals throughout the year

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required, Masters degree preferred
  • Two years of full-time experience in related areas preferred
  • Strong written communication skills in Nepali and English and computer competency required
  • Experience with research methods, developing partnership and networking will be a plus
  • Willing to travel within Nepal a few times in the year and frequent availability on weekends
  • Ability to work in team, pragmatic, sociable, adaptive, reflective, energetic, detail oriented and ability to work independently

Location: Based in Kathmandu valley with a few visits in the year to TFN placement communities. 

Salary: Based on competency and Teach for Nepal policies.

Duration: Willingness to commit minimum of two years will be highly preferred although the contract will be for one year. Renewal will depend on the availability of funding and performance.
