The main purpose of Advocacy Officer is to shoulder the overall responsibility of timely project implementation in two districts, coordinate with stakeholders, mobilize legal interns, monitor the project activities, enhance the capacity of Project Associate, manage daily administrative obligations in districts and overall reporting of project activities. Coordinate with selected local levels of Darchula and Doti districts for project implementation

Major Responsibilities:

• Planning, reporting and monitoring of the project
• Prepare training material to impart to community on various legal provisions of constitution, penal code and civil code
• Provide leadership and guidance to subordinate to ensure timely initiation and implementation of project activities according to the set standards and quality
• Provide strategic and technical assistance to the projects
• Ensure that JMC's organizational policies as well as compliances of project is completely adhered while implementing the project's activities at district level
• Mobilize the new legal interns at districts to enhance the legal access of community people
• Develop linkages and good coordination with stakeholders and like-minded organizations
• Make the project activities transparent and visible at the district level through regular and active participation  and monitoring of the project
• Ensure that project budget at the district level is spent rationally, timely and economically to  produce maximum results
• Maintain professional rapports and relationship with all stakeholders like NGOs and INGOs at district level
