Roles and responsibilities of this job

Kathford is looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Admission Counsellor for the upcoming admission season. As a key front-facing role, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students and their guardians through the application process and helping them make informed decisions about the various programs we offer.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with walk-in, phone, or online enquirers.
Provide detailed information about all academic programs offered at Kathford.
Assist in the application and admission process, including documentation and follow-up.
Maintain a record of student enquiries and track communication.
Support the Admission and Outreach team in organizing events, college visits, and info sessions.
Support digital and offline marketing campaigns by providing content ideas and assisting with student testimonials or visuals.
Coordinate with academic departments to stay updated on programs and admission requirements.
Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for all students and visitors.
Uphold the institution’s values and deliver exceptional service to all stakeholders.

Duty Station:

The duty station is Kathford International College of Engineering and Management, Balkumari, Lalitpur.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education Level: Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in relevant field
Experience Required: 1 year or more in counseling, education consultancy, sales, or communication roles (Freshers with strong interpersonal skills may also apply).
Employment Type Regular/Full time: Duration 3 Months (Contractual, with the possibility of extension based on performance)

Additional Skills :

Excellent communication skills in both English and Nepali.
Friendly, proactive, and student-centered approach.
Ability to work effectively in a team and handle multiple interactions with professionalism.
Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace.
Willingness to travel for outreach activities when required.
