Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Admission Counsellor at King's College Nepal. The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for providing information about the college, guiding prospective students through the admission process, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their education. The role also involves conducting admissions interviews, maintaining student records, and coordinating with various departments within the college.

Responsibilities in detail:

  • Student advising and support.
  • Provide personalized advising to prospective students and their guardians, addressing inquiries and concerns regarding the admissions process, academic programs, and campus life. 
  • Offer guidance on program options, course recruitments, and the application process. 
  • Application Review.
  • Assist in reviewing and evaluating admission applications, ensuring that all required documents are submitted.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to make recommendations for admission decisions.
  • Campus tours and information sessions.
  • Conduct campus tours and information sessions to provide an engaging and informative introduction to King's College.
  • Highlight the college's unique features, academic offerings, and extracurricular opportunities.
  • Record Keeping.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and communications with prospective students.
  • Track and report on the progress of applicants in the admissions pipeline.
  • Collaborative Teamwork.
  • Work closely with the admissions team and other college departments to ensure a seamless admissions process.
  • Assist in the development and execution of recruitment and retention strategies.

Qualifications

  • Interpersonal Communication, Communication, and Customer Service skills
  • Sales and Education background
  • Experience in guiding and counseling students
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of the education system and college admissions process
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
