Position: Administrative Officer

Job Summary: 

 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrative Officer to enhance our organizational efficiency. In this role, you will manage deliveries and pickups, support the accounts department, and facilitate clear communication among team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute timely deliveries and pickups of documents and supplies as directed.
  • Visit the bank for cash and check deposits, maintaining accuracy and security protocols.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of all deliveries and pickups.
  • Assist the accounts department with basic bookkeeping tasks, invoicing, and record-keeping as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors about tasks, timelines, and any challenges faced.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks to support overall office operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures during all deliveries and pickups.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (if applicable).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with local routes and banking procedures.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and software.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
  • Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) is desirable.
