Job Overview: 

We are excited to hire our first-ever Administration and Program Coordinator in Nepal to lead the efforts of the K&A Cares Foundation. The coordinator will take full ownership of the foundation’s initiatives in Nepal, from identifying critical community needs to implementing impactful programs. As the sole representative of the foundation in the country, the role requires exceptional leadership, independence, and accountability.  

Responsibilities: 

The administration and Program Coordinator service includes but are not limited to the following: 

1. The Program Coordinator is expected to: 

• Ensure quality assurance and advocacy across all initiatives.  
• Establish effective monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems.  
• Research and prioritize community needs in underprivileged regions.  
• Plan, execute, and evaluate impactful projects addressing identified issues. 
• Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and community leaders.  
• Independently lead and implement foundation programs focusing 80% on Karnali Provience & 20% Nationwide.   
• Provide weekly updates to the Nepal Management Team and present annual impact reports to global management.  
• Conduct monthly/quarterly visits to the Kathmandu office to align efforts with the Nepal head office team.  

2. The Program Administrator is expected to: 

• Act as the sole liaison and logistical support for all foundation programs in Nepal.  
• Ensure financial accountability by tracking progress and managing budgets in coordination with the finance team.  
• Collect and analyze project progress data, ensuring alignment with the Annual Plan.  
• Submit monthly reports, including expenses vs. activity delivery.  

3. Independent Leadership 

• Represent the foundation, serving as the face of the organization in Nepal.  
• Make decisions and take actions with Nepal directors' approval, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.  
• Adapt to challenges and opportunities, demonstrating problem-solving and self- starter abilities.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in public health, Management, Economics, Social Work, Development Studies, or related fields.  
• Minimum experience of 2 years in community development or a related field, with a proven ability to work independently.  

Skills:  

• Proficiency in Nepali and English.  
• Strong project management and organizational skills.  
• Expertise in MS Office, IT support, data management, and reporting.  
• Self-motivation, adaptability, and accountability to thrive as the sole representative of the foundation.
