Trishuli Plus, a community action group, established in 2006, is a community based non-profitable, politically non-aligned, non-governmental organization (NGO) led and run by and for people living with HIV (PLHIV) and affected by TB to provide prevention, care & support including treatment services to PLHIV and TB affected population.

Trishuli Plus has been implementing The Global Fund TB Program in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Dadeldhura, Doti & Achham Districts supported by Save the Children International under The Global Fund. Therefore, we are inviting applications from interested Nepalese citizens who are eligible, accountable and willing to achieve the result for the positions as specified below:

Duty Station: Dhangadhi, Kailali (Frequent travel to project district)
Required No.: One 

Terms of reference (ToR) of Admin & Finance Officer

  • Maintain record of overall expenditure of the program activities in accordance the direction with Admin/Finance Director.
  • Handle day to day accounting transaction of the program.
  • Entry of daily journal voucher and postings based on double entry system accordingly.
  • Ensure, develop & maintain income goods, equipment, material and their posting into the proper ledger. 
  • Calculate the taxes on applicable deducted sources, deposit in timely to concerned office and maintain E-TDS system,  
  • Maintain proper filing and effective documentation of all documents related to finance and administration.
  • Support Admin/Finance Directors and members in Administrative and Finance related matters.
  • Facilitate to release advance to the program staff for SR supported TB program activities implementation at district and Palika level. 
  • Receive, verify and ensure that supporting documents are submitted by program staffs while settling advance. 
  • Check and ensure attendance, payment and other necessary supporting documents required for settlement.
  • Provide orientation to the new project staff on financial norms and policy of the project.
  • Monitor and supervise office assistant’s work and provide feedback to maintain office clean and tidy.
  • Prepare and submit qualitative and quantitative financial report to Save the Children. 
  • Perform any other duties as required or requested by line manager and the board.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management with 3 years working experience 
  • Proficiency on computer usage on office packages, accounting software TALLY, email and internet,
  • Priority will be given having 2 wheeler driving license,
  • Priority will be given for candidates worked with The Global Fund TB Program, 
  • Residency of program district will be given a priority
