Job Description

Administrative Finance

  • Maintenance of timely and accurate books of account for project.
  • Ensuring that accounting systems are maintained in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, with Governmental and International Accounting Standards.
  • Prepare financial reports for the project and overall organization.
  • To make accounting entries in the computerised package.
  • Prepare budget and financial projection for the project proposals as and when requested by Program Department.
  • Arrangement of Institutional and Project Audit as per requirement.
  • Coordination on preparation of management response in the queries and remarks pointed out by the Auditors.
  • Maintain Bank Account (Reconciliation).
  • Prepare monthly requisition and submit to the management 15 days prior to disbursement.
  • Prepare and update quarterly status reports of the project.
  • Make logistic and financial arrangement for meetings, trainings and workshops.
  • Liaise with Government and other agencies for registration, tax and other licence renewals.
  • To administer employee files and other files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances - review personnel records: [Staff contracts, leave reports, training, time sheet, travelling documents.
  • To resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities, ensuring that all bills submitted by staff are legitimate and correct.
  • To work on cost saving where ever possible and work together with the team for all other potential cost saving measures.

Reporting and Documentation

  • To prepare financial statements for all projects.
  • To assist Finance Manager for budget planning along with forecasting and reporting.
  • Provide regular updates to the program department and the donor organization.

Duration: 1 year

Salary: As per the rules of the organization.
