Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment with feminist value through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns- against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. We currently work in 19 districts with district offices in Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Dang, Kailali, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rukum, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and, Surkhet with Central Office in Lalitpur. Admin and HR Assistant

Location : Kathmandu

Education Qualification and Skills :

  • Minimum Academic Degree of Proficiency Certificate Level or +2 in business administration or other related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar position including voluntary work and/or internship
  • Good communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of HR and Admin procedures of NGOs
  • Strong writing and speaking skills in English and Nepali

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assist managerial affairs to HR Officer for administration and human resource management
  • Provide support to the branch offices and for staff hiring and other areas of HR management and decision making as per need
  • Work in close coordination with Admin, Finance and Program section
  • Help ensure compliance to and implementation of the policies, systems and practices in the entire HR and admin activities
  • Carry out and manage the overall recruitment process under the supervision of Admin and HR Officer
  • Help in developing job descriptions for new positions
  • Track the record of contracts and benefits under the administration in regards to issuance, renewable and revision for employment contracts
  • Maintain current organizational chart and current staff contact list
  • Collect and record employee time-sheet and leave requests
  • Facilitate weekly staff meeting to share progress, challenges in regard to work operation
  • Assist and support the staffs in administration, procurement, and documentation; and support on overall administrative function
  • Assist and coordinate in organizing/managing meeting, workshop and rallies etc, support on conducting the programs and campaigns
  • Provide required assistance for the proper functioning of library and distribution of publications
