Women’s Rehabilitation Centre (WOREC) is a national level NGO working for women's human rights and to ensure women empowerment with feminist value through protection and promotion of human rights and social justice focusing on campaigns- against violence against women, and women's economic, social and cultural rights nation-wide. We currently work in 19 districts with district offices in Morang, Sunsari, Udayapur, Siraha, Dhanusha, Dang, Kailali, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rukum, Kapilvastu, Rupandehi and, Surkhet with Central Office in Lalitpur. Job Description

  • Overall managerial responsibility to drive best practices and systems of financial and administrative management, documentation, monitoring and reporting to maximize organizational efficiency
  • Manage all financial and accounting procedures of the organization including grant and financial requirement of funding partners, monitoring and reporting.  
  • Provide support, guidance and training to the admin and financial team and ensure all financial, administrative and procurement procedures, policy compliances and rules and regulations are well maintained, practiced and documented.
  • Plan and prepare consolidated budgets of the organization, financial statements and manage inventory and payrolls related activities.
  • In consultation with the program and management team prepare financial planning and forecasts, monitor the budget and accounts and prepare budget variance report for management.
  • Manage and coordinate year-end and cyclical auditing processes - conduct internal audits, support district offices on audit and financial matters and organize capacity building activity to respective team members and engage with external auditors.  
  • Prepare periodic and annual financial report and submit as per requirements.

  • Knowledge and skills in financial and administrative management; capacity to lead and mobilize the team; facilitation, communication and analytical skill, good writing skill in both Nepali and English; and can work in stressful situations and during off days, when it requires.
