  • Good analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with high accuracy and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel to mines and work in a field environment when required.

Job Description

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records of the Mines Division including purchases, expenses, and petty cash.
  • Prepare and verify vouchers, bills, and supporting documents for all financial transactions.
  • Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions related to mine operations.
  • Track and reconcile payments made to contractors, suppliers, and transporters.
  • Ensure proper cost allocation of mining operations (fuel, equipment, manpower, transport, etc.).
  • Monitor stock and inventory accounting of raw materials, spares, and consumables used at the mines.
  • Prepare periodic financial statements, MIS reports, and cost analysis reports for management.
  • Ensure timely filing of TDS, VAT, and other statutory compliance as per Nepalese law.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and banks regarding mine-related accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities for the Mines Division.
  • Maintain coordination with the head office accounts team and provide required financial data.
