Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to support our finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.
Follow-up for the payment collection to Debtors.
Collect Cheque from Customers.
Prepare and verify invoices, bills, credit notes, and supporting documents.
Maintain accurate ledgers, account files, and documentation for audit purposes.
Support PAN/VAT calculation, e-billing, and tax filing activities.
Assist in bank reconciliation and follow up on accounts receivable and payable.
Coordinate with internal departments for data verification and payment processing.
Update records and reports using accounting software Tally.
Handle vendor and customer billing queries with professionalism.
Monitor petty cash disbursement and ensure proper settlement with receipts.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure adherence to company financial policies and statutory compliance.
Maintain confidentiality of all financial data and sensitive information.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum of 1 year of experience in Account Department in related field.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred (BBS/BBA/BCOM), Passed out or Running.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation (PAN/VAT).
Experience with accounting software Tally, Busy etc.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of financial software is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
