  • MBS/MBA with minimum 5 years of working experience in large organization; Manufacturing Industry (preferred)
  • Must have proven working experience in ERP Software; knowledge of Synergy ERP is highly preferred  
  • Must have working level knowledge of VAT/TAX as per relevant law of Nepal.
  • Must have proven experience of working in Microsoft Office
  • Proven senior accounting experience with knowledge of accounting standards
  • Fluent with data entry & Import Entry
  • Strong Knowledge of Accounting Principles, policies & estimates
  • Ability to work as a high performing and multi disciplinary team under tight deadlines and time tables
  • Strong communication, prioritization and organization skills
  • Substantial knowledge of Banking norms and should have exposure in dealing with Bank as Accountant 
  • Awareness of business trends
  • Experience with creating financial statements
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process

Job Description

  • Maintaining proper records (i.e. data entry) of every transaction in ERP software
  • Preparing cost & financial records of imported goods including invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable
  • Compliance with TDS, VAT & Excise requirements, reporting & submission
  • Handle Monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Ensure upto date transaction in the Purchase book by making necessary entry in the software
  • Prepare necessary documents required for costing of trading goods
  • Prepare Bank Reconciliation statement every month
  • Assist in preparation of periodic and year-end financial reports for management and auditors
  • Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within an organization
  • Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports daily, weekly & monthly basis
  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports
  • Calculate and process the Salary Payment and prepare salary slip
  • Coordinating internal and external audits
  • Verifying Completing financial reports on a regular basis and providing information to the finance team
  • Completing bank reconciliations
  • Balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies
  • Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source
