Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial, taxation, HR, and administrative activities of the organization. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while supporting overall organizational operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle and record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely.
Manage VAT-related transactions and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare and file Income Tax Returns and VAT Returns.
Raise and issue invoices as required.
Update and maintain the Sales Register and Purchase Register.
Prepare monthly financial reports for management review.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
Support the organization in planning and budgeting processes.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit periods.
Oversee the Human Resource management functions as assigned.
Manage payroll processing and ensure timely disbursements.
Handle administrative management tasks to support office operations.
Perform tax planning to optimize compliance and efficiency.
Manage tasks related to the Office of the Company Registrar.
Regularly review the books of account, assess internal control systems, and provide monthly feedback.
Perform other duties as assigned by the organization.

Job Specification

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
Strong understanding of Nepal’s tax laws and compliance requirements.
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
