Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Account Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
Process and review expense reports, purchase orders, and invoices
Prepare and submit tax documents, including VAT and TDS returns
Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
Contribute to the preparation of audit and tax filings
Maintain the confidentiality of financial information and adhere to data protection policies

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accountant, preferably in the Tours, Travels and Hospitality industry
Prior experience with accounting software and MS Excel
Knowledge of Nepalese accounting and taxation laws
Possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Note: Candidates must have a valid two-wheeler license.
