Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in accounting, knowledge of customs duties, and hands-on experience with accounting software.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting transactions and financial records.
Handle sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other accounting entries.
Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and supporting documents.
Handle bank reconciliation and cash/bank records.
Ensure proper recording and verification of financial transactions.
Manage accounting entries using Tally and Swastik accounting software.
Handle and maintain records related to customs duties and import-related accounting transactions.
Assist with VAT, tax, and other statutory accounting requirements.
Prepare periodic financial reports and statements.
Coordinate with internal teams, banks, suppliers, and other relevant parties as required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, BBS, BBA, or a related field.
Prior experience working in a system company is preferred.
Good knowledge of customs duties and import-related accounting procedures.
Practical knowledge of Tally and Swastik accounting software.
Good understanding of general accounting principles, VAT, and taxation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
