Roles and responsibilities of this job

A leading Hydropower Company developing >100MW is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Account Officer to manage financial records and support the company’s accounting and financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and transactions.
Prepare invoices, vouchers, financial statements, and accounting reports.
Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor expenses, budgets, and financial transactions.
Handle tax, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely financial reporting.
Coordinate with internal teams, banks, auditors, and relevant stakeholders.
Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in hydropower, construction, or infrastructure.
Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably in hydropower, construction, or infrastructure.
Relevant experience in accounting, preferably in hydropower, construction, or infrastructure projects.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong numerical, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
