Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on accounting experience, knowledge of VAT compliance, and proficiency in accounting software. Experience using Swastik Software will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain day-to-day accounting transactions accurately.
Perform daily bank reconciliation and maintain accurate bank records.
Perform VAT reconciliation and ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Conduct VAT audits and maintain proper documentation and records.
Carry out party (vendor/customer) reconciliation and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Maintain ledgers, journals, and financial records.
Prepare payment vouchers, invoices, and other accounting documents.
Assist in month-end closing activities.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting and tax requirements.
Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in BBS, BBA (Finance), Accounting, Finance, or an equivalent qualification.

Experience

Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting.
Experience with Swastik Software is highly preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies

Proficiency in Swastik Accounting Software.
Good understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
Experience in Purchase Order entry, VAT reconciliation, and party reconciliation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
