Roles and responsibilities of this job

Lumora Bhedetar is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage the resort's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing daily transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
Record daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, and journal entries.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Prepare VAT, tax, and other statutory filings in compliance with government regulations.
Process payroll and maintain employee financial records.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Support management with financial analysis and reporting for business decisions.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, VAT, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Swastik, or similar) and MS Office, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
