Roles and responsibilities of this job

KL Cinema (FCUBE) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will support the organization's financial management by maintaining accounts, preparing financial reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and assisting in budgeting and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ledgers, and financial transactions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Record sales, ticketing, concession, and other revenue transactions accurately.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Prepare and submit VAT, TDS, and other regulatory filings as required.
Monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company records.
Perform other finance and accounting-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, retail, or service industry will be an added advantage.
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
