Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Accountant will oversee all day-to-day accounting entries of Yeti Carpet and Yeti Polychem in Kathmandu. The accountant will report directly to the directors of the company. Some of the daily tasks required are mentioned below.

Essential Functions:

Record day-to-day entry of accounting data in Tally
Reconcile daily records with factory and banks
Create and maintain landed cost of raw materials
Create daily reports of sales, cash flow management, and LC
Review and finalize salary sheet in compliance with company policy
Prepare and file VAT and ETDS returns
Prepare documents for audits
Knowledge of banking

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting
Minimum 2 years of experience in a well-reputed firm
Strong proficiency in Tally
Advanced Excel skills, including logic statements and pivot tables
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong team collaboration
Strong time management and organizational skills
Effective supervision and delegation abilities
Confident, tactful, and skilled in handling challenging situations
Proactive, persistent, and goal-oriented
