Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage daily financial and accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling VAT-related work, and ensuring smooth accounting processes using Tally software.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle day-to-day accounting operations
Maintain daybooks, ledgers, and financial records
Prepare and manage sales and purchase entries
Operate accounting software (Tally preferred)
Prepare VAT bills and support VAT filing
Maintain stock, sales, and purchase records
Prepare and maintain balance sheets and basic financial reports
Manage invoice generation and entries
Handle cash and cheque transactions
Communicate with customers regarding payments and accounts
Maintain proper filing of financial documents
Support internal accounting and reconciliation work

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (completed or running)

Experience:

Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or related field

Skills Required:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Experience with Tally software
VAT billing and filing knowledge
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good MS Excel and computer skills
Knowledge of bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
Ability to manage cash and banking transactions
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to handle multiple accounting tasks efficiently
