PNE Marketing, a growing trading and distribution company in the FMCG sales industry, is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to support our financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and assisting in financial reporting and analysis related to trading, distribution, and FMCG sales activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial systems, with the ability to handle fast-paced transactions typical in the FMCG sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update financial records, including invoices, expense reports, and ledger entries.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and financial records.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end/year-end closing activities.
Manage tax-related matters including VAT, Excise Duty, TDS, and corporate tax filings, ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Handle Letter of Credit (LC) transactions and related banking documentation.
Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports for management.
Assist in internal and external audits by coordinating with auditors and providing required documents.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes through financial analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Use accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Support the development and improvement of internal financial controls and policies.

Job Specification

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting on a related field (preferred).
Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (manufacturing industry experience preferred).
Experience handling VAT, TDS, tax filings, and LC transactions.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).
